Gayle I. Dunbar

Gayle I. Dunbar passed away June 30, 2009. She was the only child of P.R. and Lillian (Brandon) Roberts born Nov.21, 1915 in Three Forks. She spent most of her childhood in Three Forks and graduated from high school there in 1933. That same year she married Russell M. Dunbar. They had two children, Garrell R. Dunbar and Sylvia Dunbar McCormick. She spent many years working as a desk clerk/auditor at the Finlen Hotel where she enjoyed many friends. She loved her family and her dogs who were her constant companions. She also enjoyed crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her son Garrell R. Dunbar of Butte, MT and Las Vegas, NV; her daughter son-in-law, Rodger and Sylvia McCormick of Bozeman, MT; her grandchildren, Jan McCormick of Pocatello, ID., Craig McCormick of Pullman WA., Bruce McCormick of Colorado Springs, CO, Melissa Dunbar of Minden NV., and John Dunbar of Hayward, CA; 10 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband. Her memorial graveside service will be at Fairview Cemetery in Three Forks on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 1:30 pm.
