Gary #8220;Stewey#8221; Stewart, 60, of Belgrade passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010. On November 22, 1949, Gary came into this world with his twin brother Lary in Deer Lodge. His early years were spent in Willow Creek and Bozeman where he graduated from high school in 1969. A short time later, he entered the Army and spent most of his time in Germany. After the Army, Gary worked in northern Wyoming at sawmills and truck driving, then to Bozeman where he worked for Valley Interstate Texaco, Mr. T#8217;s Towing, and then opened Stewey#8217;s Sinclair on 7th and Durston, later to work at Gallatin Field in the parking lot booth. Gary was preceded in death by his father, William (Bill), sister Lue (Stewart) Miller, mother Josephine (Rusell), brothers James and Ordaly, and wife Sue (Halvorson) Stewart. Gary is Survived by brothers Neal, Lee, and Lary Stewart; step son and daughter-in-law, Tod and Tiffaney Christensen; step grandson Tyler; step daughter Aimee; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 7, 2010 at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Interment with military rites will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
