Gary Mark Guest

d. September 25, 2024

Bozeman

Dr. Gary M. Guest, DC, passed away on September 25th, 2024, after a 3-year struggle with mental illness and cancer. He is survived by his wife, Florence; his two sons, Arlen and Benjamin; his parents, Jerry and Shirley Guest; his sisters, Rebecca and Roberta; his brothers, Randy and Lee; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

Many of you will remember Gary as a gifted Chiropractor who could heal a broken body with his strong, gentle hands. Many of you will remember Gary as a regular at Bridger Bowl skiing gracefully and joyfully for 40 years.

Some of you canoed the Smith River with him. Some of you camped in the backcountry of Glacier National Park with him. Some of you knew him as a student at Montana State University in the '70s, or as the head waiter at the Overland Express.

He will be remembered as a devoted son, a cherished brother, a doting uncle and a generous friend. I, Florence, his partner and wife, will remember Gary as a good father who never missed a soccer game, choir concert or Verge teen theater play; always there for Arlen and Ben as their loudest cheerleader. I will remember family camping trips, road trips and adventures of all kinds. I will remember kindness and laughter and a Golden Heart of Love.

A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be Friday, December 6, 2024, 1:00 p.m., at Dahl Funeral & Cremation Service.
