Gailene Marie Roberts

Gailene Marie Roberts “Momma G” passed away October 2, 2023. Gailene was born in Farmington, ME on January 15, 1956, to Charles and Verna Adams. She grew up in Farmington and graduated from Mount Blue High School in 1974.

Gailene was married to her husband, Ronald Roberts, for 37 years. They met in Waterville, ME in 1981 and were married in the Bahamas on April 16, 1986.

Gailene studied Computer Science, worked at G H Bass Shoe Company and managed several restaurants and grocery stores. In her youth, she was a competitive skier, ski instructor, and she was also competitive in track & field - the high jump was an event that she loved. She also enjoyed hunting with her dad and brothers.

Gailene loved all animals, kids, and family. She loved to host big parties and gatherings with family and friends. Her favorite part was the cooking. She also loved water and the sun. If she had a choice, she would be spending her days in the pool or laying in the sun. Gailene was a mother and grandmother to so many. Everyone in her life was family to her. She would always make sure everyone was well taken care of. She was loved by so many.

Gailene is survived by her husband, Ron Roberts; daughters, Lisa & Kim Hastings, of Farmington, ME, Heather Hastings Wagner, of Pennsylvania, Michelle Roberts Olsen, of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Charlene Adams, of Farmington, ME; brothers, Terry & Larry Adams, of Farmington, ME; four granddaughters, Brianna, Stephanie, Anna, Randi and two grandsons, Ricky and Cyrus. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Adams; mother, Verna Adams and brother, Brent Adams.

A Celebration Of Life will be held in Idaho and Maine. Dates to be announced at a later time by the family.
