Frank Micheal Mecca

July 12, 1949 — April 14, 2020

Frank Micheal Mecca passed on April 14, 2020 in Bozeman, MT.

Born July 12, 1949 Frank Mecca lived a life full of transformation with ups and downs, and a message that it's never too late for God to do His work in your heart. Frank was soft spoken in his childhood, quick to skip to the good stuff, where he found a passion for residential painting. The majority of his time was spent making his mark on the blank canvases of people's homes, but some knew of the times when he chose to allow his heart and soul to be a blank canvas for God. Whenever he took time away from his work, Frank was in God's landscapes consumed by activities such as snowmobiling, fishing, camping, and hunting.

Despite being diagnosed with a lung disease that led to his passing here on Earth, his love for God and the transformation He did within Frank's life was not in vain nor diminished by earthly struggles. Frank was beloved for being uniquely comparable to the characters in “Grumpy Old Men.” Though his acting skills were top tier, his family and those closest to him could see through the façade and knew him to be a most soft-hearted man.

He is survived by those he loved most, his sons Cory Hammond and Daniel Mecca, along with his daughters Melissa Blaine, Carol Love, Tammy Mecca, and grandchildren Riley Hammond and Reia Mecca.

As Frank would always say when parting, "Happy Easter."
