Frances Barbara Biedron, 87, of Bozeman, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 1, 2009. She was born in Uniontown, PA on September 28, 1921, one of four children to parents John and Julia Gorka. On May 12, 1946, she married Louis Biedron in Chicago, IL. Frances was a loving wife and devoted mother who raised three daughters, Donna, Louise, and Diane. Frannie served as a Chicago Crossing Guard for 35 years and, after retiring, moved to Bozeman, MT in 1995. She was very active in her church, (Holy Rosary), she was a Forester, a Eucharistic Minister, and she brought communion to the sick and homebound. She was extremely generous and giving. Frances always had a very quick wit and broad smile, cheering us up even in trying times. Her faith kept us strong. She devoted her life to her faith, and especially to her family. We will surely miss this extraordinary lady. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Louis Joseph Biedron. Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Jerry) Skoczek of Bozeman, MT, Louise (John) Kueck of Kingston, TN, and Diane (Glenn) Bailes of Bozeman, MT; sister, Stella Storc of Charlottesville, VA; as well as seven grandchildren, Louis (Deb), Steve (Marsha),Dave (Sara),Lauren (Sam),Paul, Clay, and Graham, and eight great-grandchildren, Megan, Sophie, Jacob, Natalie, Daniel, Patrick, Andrew, and Liam. A memorial mass will be held Monday, January 26, at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
