Emma Gage, 46, passed away on November 3, 2023, in Belgrade, MT. Emma was born in Seoul, South Korea and at five months old was adopted into her loving family in Bozeman, MT. Melvin and Judy Butts welcome their third child into their home with loving arms. Montana, though not where she was born, is where she grew up, settled down, and built her family.
Emma would meet her husband, Andy Gage, and they would spend the next 26 years in the home they shared outside of Manhattan, MT. In this house they would raise their daughter, Alyx Gage, and give home to many beloved pets. She rose through the ranks of her company, CED, starting as a temporary secretary until she became an important pillar in the company.
Emma was a kind, loving, and hardworking woman who would go to war for those she held close. She is survived by the great friends who surrounded her; her two brothers and one sister, Mala, Andrew, and Curtis Butts; her husband, Andy, and her daughter, Alyx. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all that have reached out and showed their love and support during this difficult time.
Emma touched many lives and will live on from the many stories of a life well lived. The family wishes to invite all to share stories at The Commons in Bozeman on Tuesday, January 9th, at 1:00 pm.
