Eileen Forester, 86, of Bozeman, Montana, peacefully passed on to the ultimate life on Sunday, June 1, 2008. She was born to Herbert Nona Butcher on June 8, 1922 in Noble, Oklahoma. She married Dick Forester in 1946 as he began his career in the United States Air Force. Eileen was a dedicated wife, mother of their three children, and friend to many. She was an accomplished musician, playing organ at the Glasgow Air Force Base Church in Glasgow, Montana in the early 1960#8217;s. She discovered she had a love for painting in the late 1960#8217;s when the family lived in Billings, Montana. In 1978, Dick and Eileen moved to their country home near Clyde Park, Montana, where Eileen recorded the beautiful landscape on canvas and enjoyed gardening. In 1993, Dick and Eileen settled in a home nestled in the quaking aspens of Bozeman, Montana. They found old friends and expanded their circle of new friends through Hope Lutheran Church and their neighbors. During these past years, she was a tireless and loving caregiver for Dick during his time of greatest need. Eileen, as well as Dick, received the gift of care giving from their friend Jennifer Menk. Eileen is preceded in death by her parents, brother Kenneth Butcher, sister Altha Caddell, and husband Dick. She is survived by daughter Jan (Ken) Walters, granddaughter Jillian Walters, son Rick Forester (Karla Mills), daughter Sue Forester (Bob Falle), granddaughter Andrea Falle and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, 210 S. Grand Ave. in Bozeman, at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 5th. Interment will be at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Harrison in Helena, Montana, at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 6th. Memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church.
