On June 1, 2012, after a very long illness Eleanor “Ellie” Blossom Rager was finally able to rest – forever. She was a kind and loving lady who brought joy and happiness to her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and kind heart. She was born to Edward and Myrtle McLeod on Nov. 16, 1925 in Detroit, MI. She was brought up in Detroit and spent most of her adult life in Vermont, NH, and Florida. Nine years ago she moved to Bozeman to be near her daughter. Local family includes her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Michael Alexander, her grandson, Jeffrey (Arin) St. Cyr and great-granddaughters Maci and Franci. Other surviving family members include her daughter Susan Garceau; sons Martin, Thomas and Edward Laughlin, all residing in NH; seven other grandchildren including her grandsons Joseph St. Cyr of New York City and Peter Garceau of Boulder, CO; and another two great-granddaughters. Mom/NaNa/G.G., we will always love you. A service and interment will be held in Grantham, NH. A special thank you to the staff at the Gallatin Rest Home for showing such respect and kindness to our Mom and family. Anyone wishing to, can make a contribution to the Gallatin Rest Home Auxiliary, 1221 W. Durston Rd., Bozeman, MT 59715 or to a charity of their choice.
