His time on earth complete, Edward J. Farrell, Jr. departed in search of the new Sunday Times crossword and the next installment of NPR’s “Says You” early morning, May 12, with his devoted wife of forty-three years beside him. Moving to Bozeman in 1998 added years and quality to his life, and Ed especially enjoyed working with the local programs Destination Imagination and VITA/TCE. Survived by his wife Elizabeth at home; two children: Kathryn (Dale) and Tim (Karey); four grandchildren: Colleen, Christian, Kara, and Allison; three siblings: Ellen (Brian), Mary (John), and Tom (Mary); niece and nephews: Aine, Kevin, Michael, and Jeremy; and many beloved cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward, Sr. and Kathryn, and his brother Jerry (Kathy). A gathering to remember Edward will be announced at a later date.
