Duane Christopher Carlton

June 29, 1954 — June 6, 2016

Lieutenant Colonel, Army (R) Duane Christopher Carlton passed from this earth in the early morning hours of June 6th, 2016 doing two of the things he loved. Riding his motorcycle and hunting.

He was a man of principles and was always pursuing his passions. He enjoyed watching his children participate in sports, various activities, and later become mature, responsible adults. His hobbies included: skiing, hunting, fishing, hiking, watching sports, running marathons, golfing, scuba diving, skydiving, and so much more. Duane was not a man to sit still for very long.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Cindy, daughter Katie, son Clint, daughter-in-law Jessica, granddaughters Emily and Alison of Helena, brothers Matthew of Florida and George of Texas, and countless other family and friends. There are no words to describe his impact in the world. Rest in peace Duane Carlton.
