Dorothy Fulton

An Angel of light has passed from our midst and returned to her heavenly home. Our beloved Dorothy Lee Fulton, 96, took her leave of her earthly home at Emigrant, MT., on March 18, 2011. Consecrated as a #8220;Messenger of Music#8221; and, during the time of her service to her beloved Church Universal and Triumphant, she brought forth from heavenly realms more than one hundred songs to uplift and bless mankind. Dorothy Lee was born on April 3, 1914, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the second daughter of Clarence Lee Siratt and Flora Ann (Campbell) Siratt. She was reared and educated in Hot Springs along with her older sister Christina and younger brother Guy and sister Velma Joe. When she was about 6 years old she exhibited an extraordinary aptitude for music. When she told her mother about the music #8220;buzzing around#8221; in her head, her mother told her to write it down, which she did, and she has been writing music ever since. As a teenager she also began to teach piano. Miracles were a part of her daily life. In her autobiography, #8220;Here I AM#8221;, she recounts many of her miraculous experiences. Dorothy Lee met Mark and Elizabeth Clare Prophet in the late 1950#8217;s and joined their new age spiritual movement, The Summit Lighthouse and later its affiliate, Church Universal and Triumphant. She became a close friend and confidant of the Prophets and traveled with them all over the world to share their spiritual message. This included trips to the Holy Land, Europe, India, Tibet and other countries. In 1974 she married her childhood sweetheart, Milton Fulton, and they enjoyed twelve wonderful years together. She is survived by her brother, Guy Siratt, niece Rheta Sargent and her husband Al, nephew Glenn Sanders, niece Shirley Gibson, nephew Gene Weston and his wife Wilma, nephew Jake Weston and his wife Gina, nephew Bill Weston and his wife Shiela, and by numerous great and great-great nephews and nieces. Her cremation service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 25th, at Dahl Funeral Home at 300 Highland Blvd., Bozeman, MT. The memorial service will be conducted in the main chapel of Church Universal and Triumphant in Corwin Springs, MT., on Sunday, April 3, at 2:00 pm. All are welcome to attend both services.
