Donald P. Beadle, 77, of Bozeman, formerly of San Luis Obispo, CA passed away March 8, 2013. He was born November 19, 1935 in Stamford, Connecticut, to George William and Adelaide Elizabeth (Provost) Beadle. He was raised in Stamford, CT and graduated from Stamford High School. He was married to Joyce Beadle of Lincoln, CA from 1957 until 1982 and together they raised four children. Donald served our country in the US Army from 1995 until 1958. Donald worked for National Semiconductor from 1959 to 1994, during the boom of Silicon Valley in California, where he had the privilege of inspiring several generations of Silicon Valley sales and marketing professionals. In 2000, Donald moved to San Luis Obispo, California, where he lived until 2011, when he moved to Bozeman Montana. Donald was a world traveler, avid golfer and a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Dodgers. He will be remembered for his nickname BTHDB and his warm, expansive smile. Donald was preceded in death by cherished parents, brother and sister. Survivors include his wife Priscilla of Hull, MA; his four children: Kevin of Austin, TX, Nancy (Louis) of Santa Monica, CA; Skip (Susie Whittinghill) of Bozeman, MT and David (Marina) of Pleasanton, CA and nine grandchildren. Celebrations of Donald’s life will be held in California and Massachusetts. Memorials may be made in his name to Alzheimer’s Association, 3480 S. Higuera St. #120, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.
