Dixie Lee (Dodge) Kelley, 59, of Livingston, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Caslen Assisted Living Center. She was born March 15, 1955 in Livingston to Harry Edward and Bertha Lucille (Munro) Dodge. Dixie was raised and educated in Livingston and graduated from Livingston High School. Following high school, she lived in the upper Shields River Valley, outside of Wilsall, for a few years. Dixie cared for the Kelley family for over 20 years in Great Falls. Following the death of the Kelley family, Dixie moved to Chehalis, Washington. She lived in Chehalis for about 15 years and while there she worked at the American Legion. Dixie suffered a stroke in 2007, so she moved back to Livingston to be closer to her family. She had been living at Caslen Assisted Living since 2008. Dixie loved dogs and there was a time when she bred and raised Pekingese. She also enjoyed crocheting, her Wednesday morning bible studies, and attending the Christian Center Church in Livingston. Dixie was preceded in death by her father, Harry Dodge. She is survived by: her mother, Bertha Dodge of Livingston; brothers, Elton (Elaine) Dodge, Edward (Audrey) Dodge, Dennis (Barb) Dodge, all of Livingston, and Danny (Julie) Dodge of Big Timber; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Christian Center in Livingston, 1400 Mt. Baldy Dr., Livingston, MT 59047.
