Delores Morton

Grandma Delores Delores Imogene Morton, 80, passed away suddenly after a very brief illness on March 27, 2011. She was born January 13, 1931, to Leonard and Imogene (Vaught) Bopp in Joliet, Montana. Delores grew up in the Bozeman area. She married Sidney Morton on March 2, 1947, and they were married for sixty-one years. They raised their sons, Ron and Bob, at the Rainbow Ranch in the Gallatin Canyon and in Belgrade. Following her retirement from food services at MSU and Bozeman schools, Delores and Sid enjoyed fishing and following their grandchildren#8217;s sports. Delores is survived by Ron (Cody) of Gallatin Gateway, their son Destry and children Kendree and Peyton of Gallatin Gateway and son Jade (Lorielle) and children Mason and Finley of Lander, Wyoming; Bob (Lyn) of Gallatin Gateway, their son Cole (Carrie) and children Audrey and Callan of San Diego, son Clay (Kellie) and children Aidan and Kieran, and daughter Scotta, all of Gallatin Gateway. Also surviving are nephew Butch Bopp (Nancy), and their children Travis Bopp (Tracy) and Lynn Custis (Kenny), and their families, all of Wyoming; and a niece, Darlene Cleveland and family. She was preceded in death by her husband Sid and brother Warren. A private family service will be held. A reception celebrating her life will be at 4:00 pm on Friday, April 1, 2011, at the Gallatin Gateway Community Center.
