David Gentry

David Gentry passed quietly at his home Tuesday, November 06, 2007 following a brief illness. Born February 2, 1945 and married his life partner Beverly Waydick on October 9th, 1965. David moved the family from Wisconsin in 1977. He managed his dreams around his time, which was spent with the family hunting and learning the shooting sports, when not in the shop repairing and manufacturing firearms parts, or building custom guns. David was always willing to help educate new shooters of any sport, and coach them through any developing problems and was certainly a joy to travel with, as the stories and humor would often astound his captive passengers! He is preceded in death by his parents Bennie and Hazel, and brothers Roger, Everett and Owen Lee. Surviving family include his wife Beverly, sons David (Cassy) and Dennis (Kelly) and grandchildren Ridley, Marley, Caren and Nash. Dave's smile and laughter will always be with us. In lieu of flowers, memorials in David's name are suggested to the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital Hospice, 915 Highland Blvd., Bozeman, MT 59715.
