Daniel Robert Knarr of Bozeman passed away on Friday, March 11 at his home. A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, March 23rd at 3:00 at the Grace Bible Church in Bozeman. Danny was born September 4th 2015 in Bozeman.
Danny loved playing with his big sister, Cooper, his dogs Ruger, Tulie and his cat Tiger. He thought his dad was the funniest thing ever and he would light up when dad walked into the room. His favorite time was time spent playing on the floor with his mom, when she would read him his bedtime stories or just snuggle with him.
Danny liked playing peek-a-boo, his Sesame Street friends, his jumper, and watching football. His team was the Denver Broncos. We always knew they would win if he had to be changed into all four of his Bronco gear outfits before the game started. Just like Mom and Dad, he loved being outdoors. Mom took him on many adventures including long, long hikes, and sitting in tree stands scouting for future hunts. He was along for the hunting trip when Cooper shot her first elk, a six point bull. He was also a witness to wildlife violations which Dad had to take care of on his day off, while they were waiting in the truck and leaving Mom sitting on a faraway hill with the deer she had just shot. Danny was dad's backup while he talked to the hunters on his day off. Danny also took his first plane ride to Alaska and saw many beautiful things while he was there with Mom. He liked his stroller rides with Aunt Tammy. She says he really liked the Dollar Store.
His Gramma will miss him the most. He was the second most important person in her world. She will miss snuggling with him even if for hours while he slept, for in that time, all was right in her world.
Daniel is survived by his big sister Cooper Knarr of Bozeman; his grandmother Karen Southers of Great Falls; grandparents Rick and Mary Ann Southers of Port St. Lucie, Fl; great grandparents Verlette Eshleman of Great Falls; Bill and Dorothy Southers of Port St. Lucie, FL; aunts and uncles Katrina and Mike Basse; Rick, Randy, and Jewell Southers; Tammy Eshleman of Bozeman; Sheryl and Dennis Hunking of Keizer, OR; Billy Southers of Seabrook, NH; Kim Southers of West Palm Beach, FL; several cousins and great aunts and uncles.
Please Lord, "Let him sleep, for when he wakes he will move mountains.” Heaven now has the sweetest angel, his smile and laughter will be a new light in the sky.
Memorials are suggested to the Montana Raptor Center, PO Box 4061 Bozeman, MT 59772.
