August 3, 1951 — April 28, 2015

Cheryl Ann Greenway, 63, of Bozeman passed away suddenly after a brief illness on April 28, 2015. Cheryl was born in Norman, Oklahoma on August 3, 1951 to Jack and Mary Greenway. Raised in a military family, they traveled extensively and the family moved to Montana in 1965. Cheryl graduated from Bozeman High School in 1969. She attended Montana State University and received her degree in sociology with an emphasis in criminal justice in 1973. A member of Kappa Delta Sorority at MSU, Cheryl admired the older members in the chapter and was equally respected by the pledge class members who came after. She maintained a friendship with many of the members and their families throughout the years. Following graduation, Cheryl was selected to work for the FBI and spent two years in Washington DC. She then returned to Montana where she joined her beloved father in the real estate industry. Cheryl served as secretary and office manager for Western Land Brokerage in the 1980's and received her real estate license in 1994. She joined ERA Landmark Real Estate in 1997 as an assistant to Sue Fry. Managing contracts and transactions, Cheryl played a pivotal behind the scenes role in the success of Sue's business. In addition to her contributions to the real estate community, Cheryl is remembered for her love of her parents and the entire Greenway family, her enjoyment of photography, her compassion for animals, and her kind heart. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jack Greenway JR. She is survived by her niece Jenny Briones, great nephew Taylor Briones, great niece Skylar Briones all of West Richland Washington, nephew Jake Greenway of Conrad Montana, and several cousins. A celebration of life will be held at 3pm on May 8, 2015 at Dahl's Funeral Chapel followed by a reception at ERA Landmark Downtown at 8 East Main St until 6pm.
