Charles Clayton Page

February 16, 1926 — January 2, 2018

Charles Clayton Page - our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, ambitious businessman, faithful Christian, witty conversationalist, prolific tool collector, caring neighbor, hot springs enthusiast and proud Bozemanite of almost 92 years has finished his work. Charles died peacefully in his sleep, Jan. 2, 2018, in his home. Charles is predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Nielsen Page.

Charles was born in 1926 in Bozeman, Montana, to Ralph and Margaret Page. He is the father of Pamelyn (Brian) Wahl, Linda (Thomas) Glatts, and Ronald (Mavis) Page. Charles has nine grandchildren: Nathanael and Shantel Wahl, Joshua and Jayci Wahl, Derek Glatts, Paul Glatts, Elissa Page, Katelyn Page, and Marian Page; one surviving brother - Irving Page; two surviving sisters - Mable Deane and Merna Crandall; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and his Bozeman Seventh-day Adventist Church family.

From the late 1940s to 1996, Charles owned and enjoyed the Bozeman Hot Springs and KOA Campground alongside his wife, Nancy and son, Ronald. The Bozeman KOA Campground was one of the first KOA’s in the nation.

For years, Charles drove the “Hot Springs Bus route," servicing Bozeman public school children. A replica of the bus Charles drove was the sign for the Bozeman Hot Springs for years. Charles was still affectionately called, “Bussey” by some.
