(Catherine) Nicole McCormick, 28, of Bozeman, Montana passed away peacefully at home on May 1, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. She was born March 22, 1989 in Salt Lake City, UT, to Lisa and Kirk Hooton. Nicole grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from West Jordan High School. Nicole moved to Bozeman in 2007 and discovered her love for the outdoors. Through a friend she met the love of her life, Sean McCormick, by communicating through Facebook. They fell in love and married on September 3, 2010 before moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Sean and Nicole moved back to Bozeman in October of 2011 during her first pregnancy, then becoming an accomplished domestic engineer.
In her youth, Nicole loved playing fast pitch softball and trying to keep up with her brother. Her children were her world and she enjoyed spending every minute she could with them both. She is remembered most for her wonderful sense of humor and sarcasm.
Nicole is survived by her loving husband, Sean McCormick; her three children, Aiden (5), Addelynn (18 months) and Emileigh (step daughter,9), her parents Lisa and Kirk Hooton, brother Jess Hooton, grandparents Bryant and Marta Pratt, Leo and Joan Hooton, and several in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
A life celebration service will be held Thursday, May 11th, at the Story Mansion in Bozeman, Montana at 6:30 p.m.. Memorials may be made to cancer research.
