Bonita May Goforth, 66, of Logan, passed away Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. She was born September 9, 1943 in Bozeman a daughter to John #8220;Delbert#8221; and Doris Mabel (Dent) Karlstrom. Bonita was raised in Logan, attended Logan grade school and graduated from Manhattan High School. Following high school went to Santa Rosa Jr. College in Santa Rosa, California and worked in several San Francisco Banks. She later moved to Spokane Washington where she met William Goforth. The couple was married on December 3, 1971. While they were together they lived in Spokane, Anchorage Alaska and Washington DC. Bill died in 1995, Bonita then moved back to Logan, Montana in 1997 to take care of her parents. Bonita was passionate about genealogy and had been the secretary for the Washington DC DAR chapter (Daughters of the American Revolution). She also loved her cats. Bonita was preceded in death by her husband Bill and her father Delbert. Survivors include her mother Doris of Billings, MT; her brother and sister-in-law Dale and Linda Karlstrom of Billings, MT; nephew Dusty Karlstrom and his wife Babs of Mandan, ND; niece Heather Karlstrom of Deer Lodge, MT and great niece Raelynn Karlstrom of Billings. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in her name to the Heart of the Valley Humane Society, 1549 E. Cameron Bridge Rd, Bozeman, MT 59718 and the Salvation Army, 425 E. Babcock Street, Bozeman, MT 59715.
