Boni Jean Roberts

On August 3rd, 2023, Boni Jean Roberts passed away at the age of 55. Boni was born in Morristown, Tennessee to Bonnie and Sherman Roberts on August 20th, 1967.

Boni was a dreamer, lifelong student and artist. Boni was an accomplished culinary professional, and among many varied talents was a gifted metal smith.

Though Boni Spent most of her life in Montana, her adventurous spirit found her travelling Europe after graduating from Absarokee High School in 1985. She received a B.A. in Studio Art and an M.A. in Digital Filmmaking from Montana State University. She was most recently working on a doctorate in philosophy in Native American Studies at Montana State University.

Boni is preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie; father, Sherman; brothers, Craig and Barton Roberts. Boni is survived by brothers, Steven Gauthier and Shane Roberts.

Friends and family are invited to an informal service September 9th, 2023, 3PM, at the Rosebud Cemetery.
