Betty Jean Franklin

Betty Jean Franklin, 75, of Bozeman, MT passed away April 30th, 2017 in the presence of her loving daughters. Betty was born on May 17th, 1941 in Santa Maria, CA to parents Jerry and Ida Burger. Betty, alongside her siblings, was raised in Santa Maria, CA and after attending high school, began her career as a cook. Eventually settling in Clyde Park, MT, Betty raised six beautiful children: Mike, Wendy, Barbara, Holly, Gina, and Donald. She enjoyed cooking, visiting the White Sulphur Hot Springs, driving back country roads, taking walks, and caring for her dogs. Betty will be remembered most for her huge heart and her love for her children, her 16 grandchildren, as well as her 5 great-grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, her sister Jerry, God-son Ronnie, and son Mike. She is survived by her daughter Wendy Wren of Bozeman, MT; daughter Barbara (Gary) Bauer of Billings, MT; daughter Holly Franklin (Craig Knight) of Livingston, MT; daughter Gina Bausch (Mike Schegel) of Bozeman, MT; and son Donald (Anthoula) Franklin of Bozeman, MT; 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and brother Earl Burger of CA.

A private family gathering will be held in California at a later date.
