Betty Jean Brown

December 25, 1964 — August 14, 2020

Betty Jean Brown passed away on August 14, 2020. Betty was born on December 25, 1964, in route to the hospital in McDermitt (Humboldt County) Nevada, to James Richard Brown and Terry Carolyn (Sales) Brown. They lived in Winnemucca, NV. Betty moved to Bozeman in early 2000. She took pride in the beautiful flowers she tended outside her apartment on Haggerty Lane.

Betty made gorgeous crystal jewelry which she gave to many friends. She enjoyed walks, riding her stationary bike, watching her collection of movies, sharing coffee with friends, and driving her GMC white Envoy. She was a mechanic and kept her Envoy in top shape. Betty sought justice in all her relationships. Betty was a tough character who faced her numerous health issues.

Betty is survived by her sister of Missoula and her son, Johnny, of Butte. She is also survived by her special friends Kellie Knox of Korea and Mike Turner of Somers. In Montana, her special friends are Suzanne and Jim Bratsky, Jayme Schlepp, Keven Van Dyken of Bozeman and Erin and David Bratsky of Billings.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her 16-year-old son Josh, and her favorite cat, Panther.
