Betty Ann Bies

Betty Ann Bies, 68, of Bozeman, passed away October 16, 2014. She was born September 15, 1946 in Cambridge, Vermont to John and Lyda (Lafley) Limlaw. Betty was raised in Vermont and then lived in California, Alaska, and Montana. On September 26, 1997 she married John Bies at Soldiers Chapel in Big Sky, Montana. She was a member of the Eagles in Bozeman and enjoyed helping there as much as she could. Betty was an avid pool player and was on the pool league at the Eagles. She also enjoyed textiles and sewing. Betty loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her puppy 'Sadie' Betty is survived by her husband, John of Bozeman, Children; Betty (Randy) Litschauer of Belgrade, and Kenneth (Marina) Mead of Vermont; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. John's children Krystal (Will) Schmitz of Bozeman, Wanda Shott of Florida and Wendy Bies. There will be a visitation from 1:00PM to 5:00PM on Sunday, October 19 at Dahl Funeral Chapel. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00PM, Monday October 20 at Dahl Funeral followed by interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery and a reception at the Eagles Lodge at 316 East Main Street in Bozeman.
