Ann Louise Guenther

Ann Louise Guenther passed away on January 7, 2020 at the young age of 87.

Ann was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin, June 9, 1932 to Louis Carl and Elizabeth Weed Isenberg. She graduated from Baraboo High School. She attended North Western University from 1950-1955. Ann studied French horn with the 1st chair French hornist of the Chicago Symphony. She married Frank Sherman Guenther on December 28, 1953, in Baraboo, Wisconsin. They moved to Billings, Mt. where Frank received his degree in vocal music. They moved to Bozeman, Mt. in 1969 where her husband taught vocal music in the High School and she pursued her love of medicine for 36 years as an Operating Room Circulating Scrub Technician.



Known as Gammie to many, Ann had an immense love for her family and close friends. She spent countless hours creating colorful masterpieces with her crochet hooks and knitting needles. Every Christmas, one or more of her children would receive a wrapped skein of yarn with a partially completed project (including knitting needles) and an IOU for completion. In the warmer months, instead of creating with yarn, she created beautiful flowers and vegetables in her gardens.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Carl and Elizabeth Weed Isenberg, her sister Virginia Meismer, her brother Paul Isenberg, her son David Edward Guenther and her husband Frank S. Guenther.



Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Susan (Rudy) Schneider, Chris Guenther, Dan (Cindy) Guenther and Kim DeHaan. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Matt, Andy, Megan (Pat), Ashley (Josh), Ryan, Lisa, Danny (Caitlin), Nicole (Bryan), Josh, Chad (Jolene), Phillip and Josh.



And finally, last, but not least, are her great grandchildren: Harper, Daxton, Ryker, Rowan, Brycen, Ethan, Svea, Rylee, Chance, Max, Jace, Jon, Keegan and Kami. WHEW!!



In addition to her loving family, she was blessed with her nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. We would like to give our sincere thanks to the awesome, loving staff at the Beehive Assisted Living Facility in Belgrade. They became a second family to her. We would also like to thank the caring staff at Hospice and Home Health.
