Aimee was born in Denison, Texas to Susan Lightner and James Roberson. She soon moved to Montana to meet her mother’s side of the family. She was a bright and energetic child and charmed everyone she met. Though her body was small, due to Turner syndrome, her presence was huge. She attended schools in Bozeman, Sidney, and finally Three Forks, Montana, where she graduated in 1998. She lived a few years in Plains, Montana where she fell in love with Willie Peachie. She eventually made her way to Anaconda where she lived the last ten years of her life surrounded by friends at the Bubash group home.
She is dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her Bozeman family: mom Susan, her brother Jareth, aunt Jo and uncle Steve Flagg, uncle Dan and aunt Sandy Lightner and her cousins Chris, Jackie and Chuck (Johanna) Lightner, uncle Frank; her Texas family: dad Jim Roberson, Aunt Linda and cousins Michelle and Melissa; her big Anaconda family, the staff and residents of the Bubash group home, and her really Great aunts, Jenny Lee Johnson of Sidney and Natalie Koeser of Athens, Georgia.
We hold peace knowing that Aimee is truly happy now, because she is with her beloved Grandma.
A service will be held soon in Anaconda.
