Julie Marie Airhart

Juliet “Julie” Marie Airhart passed away peacefully on October 19th, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with Cancer. She was born on February 9th, 1967, in Helena, MT where she spent the early years of her life.

It would be wrong to say that Julie lost her battle when she never stopped fighting. Despite the challenges she faced through this trial, she remained persevering and determined. Through her, we know what resilience, perseverance, and pure love truly look like. She is a compassionate spirit whose passion is caring for others. Her life will forever be a shining example of how to walk through the world with kindness, strength, and faith, and we will cherish the time we were blessed to learn from her. May we all continue aspiring to love and live as she did.

Julie spent her adulthood in The Gallatin Valley, touching each community she became a part of with her profound kindness, humility, and faith. She, amongst other things, was a teacher in the Monforton and Gallatin Gateway School special education programs, a council to any who needed some true friend to lean on, and a teacher to each and every soul she encountered. She spent the last 25 years sharing her overflowing love as a passionate mother to her three awesome kids, a dedicated wife, and a devout child of The Lord.

Julie was preceded by her father, Robert Eric Duke and mother, Charlene Ann (Radke) Duke.

Julie is survived by her husband, Chad Robert Airhart; daughter, Quincy Marie (Samuel Morgan) Sanders; sons, Vaughn Duke Airhart and Sorren Clark Airhart; and dog, Moose.
